Martin Carthy and Eliza Carthy are due to record an episode of the BBC Radio 4 show Mastertapes at Maida Vale studios in West London on Tuesday 11 June. Tickets to be in the audience are free but must be applied for in advance via the BBC website. There is no indication at this stage when the completed programme will be aired but if it follows the pattern of the first series in 2012 and the current series which started this week there will be two 30-minute programmes broadcast on consecutive days (Monday and Tuesday) on BBC Radio 4 and then made available to listen via BBC iPlayer. Video clips of some performances are also usually made available on the BBC website.
I’ll update this page when more broadcast details are available and the provide Soundcloud files of the complete programmes after they have been aired via the On Air section of this website.

Tickets are no longer available but broadcast dates and times have now been confirmed as follows:
