On Sunday the 16th of June Delphonic Music will release the second of three live albums from Martin Carthy. This album features seven tracks, never previously released, taken from a live performance in Sidmouth in 1979.
This sees Martin six years on from his performance in St Albans, during which time he had made three solo albums, an album with The Albion Band, an album as part of Waterson:carthy and had numerous releases with Steeleye Span. This highly prolific period is reflected in this live set which includes songs from a number of those releases alongside other traditional folk tunes, previews of which can be heard below.
